11:00pm Holy Hour with our Lord exposed in the monstrance. As we were praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy the clock changed from 11 to 12. Wonderful way to bring in the New Year! 12:10am After our Holy Hour we gathered in the kitchen for our "New Year Wishes." Each Sister, starting with the youngest, makes a wish for the Community for the New Year. One example is "That through our missions many people will return to the sacraments during 2013."
12:15am. We are all very happy that it's time for bed and "run with gravity" to our cells. We aren't accustomed to late nights (except for nocturnal adoration three nights a week.)

Wonderful way to bring in the New Year. I too prayed an hour of Adoration as we have Perpetual Adoration in my parish. It is such a gift to be able to visit The Lord any time day or night. I am signed up two nights Comments are closed.
