Praying the Memorare that the Franciscan Lady Barons close out their volleyball season with a win!10/24/2015
O God, who are rich in mercy and who willed that St. John Paul the Second should preside as Pope over your universal Church, grant we pray, that instructed by his teaching, we may open our hearts to the saving grace of Christ, the sole Redeemer of mankind, Who lives and reigns forever. Amen
Here is the full quote from the picture: “It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provoked you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is He who reads in your heart your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle. It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” - St. John Paul II In a letter written by St. Margaret Mary she describes three streams flowing from the Sacred Heart of Jesus: The stream of Mercy toward sinners to pour into their hearts sentiments of contrition and repentance, Charity - for those in need and to aid those seeking perfection to surmount difficulties, and Love and Light - to benefit his friends that have reached perfection to unite themselves to Him, share in his knowledge and completely devote themselves to advancing His Glory.
May these graces from the Heart of Jesus, grant us repentance through His Mercy, growth in Charity, and finally great Love; so that we may attain full knowledge of Him and be instruments of His Glory! The Sisters enjoyed sharing the beauty of the Spirituality of Reparation at the Franciscan University Vocation Fair. The Dial of Reparation Holy Card is available at http://www.sistersofreparation.org/dial-of-reparation.html to print out.
Sr. Mary Francis's Mom and Dad help build cold frames so the sisters can grow some winter greens! Thank you for your help! It was a productive day!
