When we first met Bishop Durairaj of the Diocese of Khandwa, India he greeted us at the airport under a bright red umbrella. That was two years ago when we traveled to India to give talks to the seminarians and sisters in formation and started the bunk bed project.
We were graced to welcome Bishop Durairaj to our convent, and even though it was oceans away from our first meeting in India, once again there was great joy, abundant rain, and an umbrella! It was a blessing to share in friendship with an inspiring Bishop serving the missionary Church in India. He came to the United States to visit several of his priests who are studying here and he stopped by to pay us a visit. We especially thank Fr. Biju! Comments are closed.
